by Julie Agee, in category Adoption

I’ve  Got a Picture . . . Should I let you see it? Hmmm……. Ok–I can’t stand it! Here’s Miss Hannah.  This is our updated photo that we asked for. They let us know that she knows she’s getting adopted and she says that she is happy to get her own parents. Her favorite foods… Read More

Another Step Complete!

by Ben Agee, in category Adoption

Woo hoo! We received our letter from the U.S. National Visa Center (NVC) today confirming that they have wired our file to the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China. With this piece of the puzzle, we now send off our last packet (is going out today!) to our adoption agency and they overnight it to China.… Read More

Random Thoughts!

by Julie Agee, in category Other

Be patient with me today. I have many Random Thoughts going through my head this morning. First, of all, Can I just say I love my church family?  I felt so loved yesterday, and encouraged on this journey.  And I feel so blessed to be walking this journey with a few amazing couples who are also… Read More

Another Piece of the Puzzle

by Julie Agee, in category Adoption

Today we received our I-800 Provisional Paper saying that “yes” we are again approved to bring our girls home.  (Whoop! Whoop!)  Now we will wait about 10 days for a piece of paper called the NVC.  Then will wait 3 – 5 weeks for our  Article 5.  Finally, we will then be in the wait… Read More

A Cup of Coffee and God’s Letter to Me

by Julie Agee, in category Other

I’ve been up for a couple of hours today.  I’ve taken Ben to meet his ride, gone to Walmart to buy a few more groceries. Now I am finishing my cup of coffee (2nd cup actually) and reading God’s Letter to Me. Today, He used the book of Isaiah to speak loudly! (If you haven’t… Read More

A Chance to Practice Praying for someone in Need

by Julie Agee, in category Other

I’ve been following a blog of a fellow believer for about 4 months now.  If I’ve learned anything–this lady believes in praying.  She has sent out a request for prayer for a young man named Karl who is special to their family. He was in a motorcycle accident and has had two surgeries for shunts in… Read More

What is Prayer?

by Julie Agee, in category Prayer

God has really been teaching me a lot about prayer lately. How often do we think of prayer as taking our laundry list of things we want to God and rattling them off like we are sitting in Santa’s lap telling what we want for Christmas? Even when we get pious and pray for others,… Read More

Quietness and Confidence

by Julie Agee, in category Other

I have been mulling this post over in my head for over a week.  I am making sure that it is the right thing to share. These are two words that God has been speaking to me through his Word. Be Quiet and Be Confident. So how come I am sharing? I am NOT going… Read More

Mom–Can we go to the Pool?

by Julie Agee, in category Other

We have been to the pool about 999 times this summer!Okay–wait, MAYBE that has been how many times I’ve been asked, “Are we going to the pool today?” Really though, we have been spending a lot of time at the pool, the beach, and with friends. Here’s Leighanne and some of her friends at the… Read More

Saying Goodbye–But Not without Hope

by Julie Agee, in category Other

I just returned home from North Carolina.  My three sisters and I made a whirlwind trip to go visit my Grandma Felberg.  She is 91 years old.  And it was time to say goodbye — for just a little while. She was moved to hospice yesterday and the workers do not think that she will… Read More
