Challenge for Chapter 2 from Trusting God When Life Gives You Crap was a sweet experience with God’s beautiful nature. I took my walk on Monday morning when there was a slight chill in the air and the sun’s rays were shining through the trees.
The challenge encouraged us to look for God’s creativity, His power and His emphasis on the details while taking a walk in nature. I chose to walk right outside my home in my neighborhood. I’m sure some of you will post a picture from somewhere exciting, but I decided to stay close to home.
I desired to “show” you in pictures some of the things I experienced because I felt the pictures described His creation perfectly.
Here’s what I discovered along my walk:
I didn’t realize how refreshing this walk would be! I was gently reminded that I needed to be thankful for where the Lord has me at this time in my life. Sometimes I get restless because I can’t figure out exactly what I’m supposed to be doing and I have to remember that He has the perfect plan and He will reveal it in His time.
I loved that I walked with intention today–with the sole purpose of “seeing” God’s creativity, His power and His emphasis in the details. My God did not disappoint! He declared these things the entire walk!
I received a blessing from this challenge–what about you?
What did God show you?
Either post a picture or a comment in the messages or go to Godisup2something on Facebook and leave a picture and/or comment there!
Enjoy His Creation today–all along the way!

You have inspired me again. One thing that jumped out on one of your pictures. I think your caption was God is in the light and the dark (maybe my interpretation) but what came to mind is the shadows. He is in the shadows … somewhere between light and dark … maybe in the waiting … things aren’t clear yet but not dark either. I am going to take some pics on my walk. They don’t usually turn out very good but I’m going to try.
